Job summary

Fluence Energy, LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot advanced battery energy storage systems across diverse industries. You will act as the onsite technical authority, ensuring peak performance while prioritizing safety and reliability, with capability to assist remotely as needed.

Travel to customer sites is required; you will document service activities, train customers on operation and safety, and coordinate with third-party contractors to meet service levels

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of proven field service experience, preferably with battery systems or power electronics.
• Ability to travel frequently to customer sites and manage contractors.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and support.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and software issues for battery systems remotely and onsite.
• Provide onsite technical support and training to customers on system operation and safety.
• Document service activities, maintenance records and technical reports accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations and service-level agreements.
