Fluence is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot advanced battery energy storage systems across various industries. The role requires serving as the onsite technical authority, upholding safety and reliability standards, and delivering superior customer service.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in electrical systems, troubleshooting, and field service, with the ability to travel frequently and work across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of proven field service experience, preferably with battery systems or power electronics.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to travel frequently to customer sites.

Responsabilités

• Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and support.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and software issues for battery systems both remotely and on-site.
• Manage third party contractors.
• Provide onsite technical support and training to customers on system operation and safety.
• Document service activities, maintenance records, and technical reports accurately.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Respond to emergency service requests and resolve issues under time-sensitive conditions.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and service-level agreements
• Other duties as assigned
