West Star Aviation Inc. is hiring a Sheet Metal Technician in Cahokia Heights, IL. This full-time, on-site role focuses on sheet metal operations for turbine aircraft structures, reading blueprints, and following drawings and procedures.

You may supervise crews and help prioritize projects while maintaining safety and quality standards. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; A&P license is preferred.

Qualifications

• :High school diploma or equivalent required; A&P license preferred.
• Exposure to turbine aircraft structures, blueprints and fastening systems.
• Ability to supervise crews and organize manpower.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe components.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling; assist in organizing projects.
