Job summary

West Star Aviation seeks a Sheet Metal Technician to perform drilling, riveting, cutting, sealing, and maintenance on turbine aircraft structures. You will read drawings, supervise crews when needed, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced hangar environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; an Airframe and Powerplant license is preferred. Valid driver's license and travel could be required. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and an A&P license preferred.
• Experience with sheet metal is preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, and cutting on airframe components.
• Apply and remove sealant and sound deadening materials.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling as needed.
• Communicate effectively in English with team members and supervision.
