Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. You will work under the supervision of an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and ensure complete customer satisfaction on site.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration with hotel staff and clients, effective communication, and timely equipment management to support events and drive guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. Associate’s degree is preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and break down basic audiovisual equipment.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment and software issues.
• Complete system entries and paperwork accurately; interact with staff and vendors.
• Utilize up-selling techniques to increase revenue and assist with invoicing.
