Job summary

RoomReady in Boston, MA is seeking an Embedded Support Technician who will serve as a dedicated technical resource for our client. This on-site, customer-facing role requires strong AV technical aptitude, excellent communication, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to ensure seamless meeting experiences.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years in AV support, be comfortable with on-site setup, and may travel up to 20% within the Boston metro region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer service role.
• 2+ years in AV industry in a support or installer role.
• 2+ years’ experience with video signal path and audio signal path.
• 2+ years’ experience with wireless microphone technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Executes positive interactions to preserve the client relationship and support retention.
• Develops and maintains understanding of customer service policies and procedures.
• Acts as liaison between client and customer service team to maximize product value.
• Performs on-site AV setup and calibration for meetings and events.
• Troubleshoots AV signal path, video, and audio issues; ensures prompt resolution.
• Provides end-user instruction and support for product operation.
