AVI-SPL is seeking a Field Service Technician to partner with the Global Helpdesk and support customers at on-site locations. The goal is to restore functionality to customer assets while delivering world-class customer service.

You will perform preventative maintenance, install control programs, troubleshoot networks, and travel to various job sites. OSHA safety and hands-on problem solving are emphasized, with opportunities to train clients and junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues.
• Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of signal flow for audio, video and control.
• Ability to manage small to medium projects.
• Ability to solder & crimp connectors.
• Valid Driver's License and driving record meeting AVI-SPL standards.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
• Perform preventative maintenance visits to maintain a stable client environment.
• Clean AV equipment such as cameras, monitors and fans.
• Field installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron/Firmware).
• Field service support of networked devices (Routers, IP protocols).
• Perform tasks including pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects and hanging ceilings.
