Job summary

AVI-SPL Senior Field Service Technician will partner with the Global Helpdesk to support customers at their sites, restoring functionality and delivering world-class service. You will read schematics, perform maintenance, install and troubleshoot AV systems, and document work while traveling to various sites.

AVI-SPL emphasizes safety and high standards, offering training and development opportunities within a dynamic, customer-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
• Perform preventive maintenance visits to help maintain a stable client base.
• Clean various AV equipment including camera lenses, monitors and fans.
• Complete accurate job documentation as needed.
• Assist with field installation of control programs (AMX / Crestron) – upload/download.
• Field service support of control programs – minor edits and updates.
• Intermediate field service support of networked devices (Routers, IP).
• Travel to customer sites and maintain flexibility with schedules.

Responsibilities

• Read schematics and blueprints to guide installations.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep client systems reliable.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot AV control equipment on-site.
• Document work clearly and accurately for each service ticket.
