Job summary

Henkel is seeking an Automotive On Site Representative in Austin, TX to provide routine technical service at a defined customer account, manage inventories and consumption data, and support forecast and material ordering where applicable. Ideal candidates hold a BS/BA in engineering or business (chemistry background preferred) with manufacturing experience in a sales/service role at a customer site.

The role runs 7 AM–4 PM, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends and holidays, and offers health

Qualifications

• BS/BA in engineering or business; chemistry background preferred.
• Manufacturing experience with a sales/service function at a customer site.
• Must have a strong work ethic and excellent customer relationship skills.
• Strong communication skills both internally and externally.
• On-site role with a 7AM–4PM schedule; occasional weekend/holiday work.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site routine technical service at defined customer account.
• Performs inventory management; records/maintains consumption data at customer processes/lines.
• Supports forecasting and supply process (material order) where applicable.
• Maintains quality/efficiency and escalates technical challenges to Application Engineering.
• Acts as first-point-of-contact between customer line and field sales.
• Aligns sales strategies with sustainability goals.
• Develops customer-centric initiatives to enhance loyalty and long-term partnership; implements VOC feedback to refine sales approaches.
