Job summary

Mercy Housing is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in day-to-day operations at an on-site affordable housing community in Gilbert, AZ. The role focuses on resident services, leasing, and adherence to HUD/Tax Credit regulations.

You will assist with data entry, rent collection, and leasing from application to move-in, while coordinating with front desk and maintenance teams. This is an on-site position with potential after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of administrative, office, accounting, or customer service experience.
• Property management work experience and knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws.
• Knowledge of real estate property management applications.

Responsibilities

• Enters data in resident accounts receivable ledgers.
• Assists with resident records documentation.
• Collects rent and other income, makes bank deposits, and forwards receipts.
• Assists with the leasing process from initial application to move-in.
• Responds to customer services requests.
• May work outside normal business hours to respond to the needs of the property.
