Job summary

The Layton Construction Assistant Project Manager supports planning, management, and execution of assigned construction projects. May handle multiple projects, ensuring quality, profitability, and owner satisfaction while building client relationships.

Key duties include assisting in estimates and budgets, scheduling, subcontract negotiations, and project close-out; developing risk, safety, and QA plans; and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in ground-up commercial projects.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of building codes and blueprints.
• Upholds ethics and company policies.
• Spanish basics preferred; proficient software skills.

Responsibilities
