Job summary

Jobot is seeking an On-Site Assistant Project Manager to support a major field-based construction project in the Boston metro area. Based on-site, you will assist the Project Manager, coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and clients, and help keep the project on schedule and within budget.

This role offers exposure to budgeting, procurement, change orders, and documentation from preconstruction through closeout.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in construction management or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Ability to work in a field-based environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and team in field-based project execution.
• Assist with project documentation, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and clients.
• Track schedules, procurement activities, and material deliveries.
• Assist in reviewing subcontractor proposals, change orders, and cost reports.
• Attend project meetings and communicate action items.
• Monitor documentation for compliance with standards and contracts.
• Support quality control, closeout activities, and turnover documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records and reporting.
• Help identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining schedules and client expectations.
