Job summary

DePelchin Family Services in Houston, TX seeks an Application Support Analyst to resolve end-user software issues, respond to enhancement requests, and ensure coordinated information reporting.

This is an in-office, full-time exempt role reporting to the Manager, Information Systems. Primary duties include supporting software across departments, developing reports, implementing upgrades, and delivering user training.

Regular on-site attendance is required.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in an operations support environment.
• Two years’ coursework in software applications analysis, design, development, database design and management, and project management.
• Work experience may be substituted for the coursework requirement.
• Experience in database or software development preferred.
• Experience in social services or healthcare preferred.
• Experience with Extended Reach a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports software programs across multiple departments and functions.
• Resolves customer problems with software and responds to requested improvements and enhancements.
• Identifies and communicates service improvement opportunities.
• Assists with the development of forms and reports.
• Assists with the implementation of upgrades and new applications.
• Assists with the development and delivery of training on software applications.
• Responsible for manual and automated operational tasks.
