Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain community safety and function. You will handle make-ready units, respond to service requests, and support preventive maintenance across residential properties.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, 1 year of maintenance experience, and relevant EPA/HVAC/CPO certifications. Valid license and tools are required; expect regional travel and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• 1 year minimum experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• Certifications: EPA, HVAC I & II, CPO (required).
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Own basic set of hand tools.
• Able to read service requests and schedules; communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members.
• Participate in CWS Risk Management and Safety Programs.
