Job summary
Sandhurst Apartment Management in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a maintenance technician to perform on-site upkeep at our apartment communities. You will interact with residents and vendors, follow safety procedures, and help ensure units are ready for move-in, while supporting an on-site presence for the community.
The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, HVAC certification, CPO certification, and about one year of maintenance experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical school preferred).
- HVAC certified and CPO certified.
- General knowledge of maintenance repair and service.
- One year of maintenance experience (apartment maintenance preferred).
- Ability to work weekends, after hours, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Understand and follow proper safety procedures for the company and community.
- Perform on-site maintenance tasks and repairs.
- Assist supervisor in completing maintenance tasks promptly.
- Make apartments ready for move-in and report issues to supervision.
- Participate in community maintenance and improvement plans.
- Maintain the physical condition of the community.
- Follow up on service requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Help control expenses to support the community budget.
