Job summary

At CWS Apartment Homes, the Maintenance Technician role focuses on enhancing community integrity while delivering exceptional customer service. You will handle make-ready apartments, service requests, and preventative maintenance while following safety standards and company policies.

Expect interaction with residents, guests and team members; bring 1+ year of maintenance experience, required EPA/HVAC/CPO certifications, and a basic set of tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year minimum experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, and CPO certifications are required.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Read service requests and communicate in English.
• Able to adhere to scheduling including weekends and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests promptly and accurately.
• Perform common area maintenance tasks.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Participate in preventative maintenance programs.
• Support resident satisfaction initiatives.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors and leadership.
• Follow risk management and safety programs.
