Job summary

LHH is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for an established manufacturing company in the Edison, NJ area. This on-site role involves owning the full-cycle AP process in a fast-paced environment and ensuring accuracy across the accounts payable workflow.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on AP experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of invoices while collaborating with purchasing and receiving teams in Edison.

Qualifications

• Prior full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
• Manufacturing or distribution industry experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with a high volume of invoices and vendors
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Edison, NJ

Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle accounts payable from invoice receipt through payment
• Review, code, and enter vendor invoices
• Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documentation, and invoices
• Prepare and process check runs and electronic payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoice and payment questions
• Maintain accurate AP records and documentation
• Assist with month-end close and AP reconciliations
• Partner with purchasing, receiving, and other departments to resolve invoice issues
