Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a client in Somerville, MA. This is a contract on-site role with free parking and compensation of $22-$24 per hour DOE. The candidate will review and process vendor invoices, reconcile statements, and support month-end close.

The ideal candidate has an accounting or finance degree and knowledge of accounts payable processes, plus strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork. Oracle experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Flexible and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience with Oracle is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process PO and non-PO vendor invoices, ensuring timely approvals and payment processing.
• Reconcile vendor statements, research and resolve invoice discrepancies, and respond to vendor and internal inquiries.
• Assist with month-end close and special projects as assigned.
