Job summary

Datum Technologies Group seeks an IT operations specialist to deliver broad IT support across office and airport locations in Detroit, MI. The role handles IMAC requests, device and software upgrades, and on-site 7x24x365 support, ensuring asset management accuracy and ticketed service requests are completed.

Responsibilities include relocating IT infrastructure, configuring hardware, troubleshooting, and collaborating with Field Planning and Project Management.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of networks, servers and applications (MS Office, Outlook).
• A+ Certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must be able to move large equipment (≥30 pounds) regularly.
• On-site and on-call 7x24x365 support responsibilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Airline experience is ideal.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support IT infrastructure across office environments, reservation centers, and airport locations.
• Install, relocate (IMAC), upgrade devices and software as directed.
• Update asset management systems and verify assets per client policy.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide technical support enterprise-wide.
• Coordinate with Field Planning and Project Management, assist with site surveys.
• Perform preventative maintenance on operational devices.
• Install and test operating systems and related software.
• Provide on-site and on-call 7x24x365 support as needed.
