Job summary

Evolving Solution Services is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee an affordable housing community in Prince Frederick, MD. The role emphasizes operations, leasing, and regulatory compliance to ensure high occupancy and resident satisfaction.

The Community Manager will lead onsite staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with Compliance specialists to meet LIHTC, HUD, HOME, and Section 8 requirements while delivering excellent service to residents.

Qualifications

• Three years of affordable housing property management experience or similar
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Experience supervising onsite teams and managing multiple priorities
• Strong knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, HOME, USDA Rural Development, and Section 8 programs

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of the community and ensure regulatory compliance
• Oversee leasing performance and occupancy goals; manage applicant processing and renewals
• Prepare and monitor the operating budget; review financial statements and variances
• Supervise onsite team, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluations
• Coordinate compliance reviews, audits, and fair housing obligations
