Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Affordable Housing Assistant Community Manager in Kennedale, TX to oversee daily operations under the Community Manager. You will manage leasing, resident services, and financial duties to support stable cash flow.

This role focuses on affordable housing programs, rent collection, budgeting, and compliance with fair housing laws. On-site leadership, staff coaching, and coordinating maintenance ensure a safe, well-maintained community.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager.
• Manage rent collection, delinquency, and budget to support stable cash flow and NOI.
• Lead leasing, staff supervision, and service coordination to ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.
• Post payments and charges accurately; manage account receivables and end-of-month closes.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure maintenance and safety standards are met.
