Mann Wireless, Ltd. in Largo, FL is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our on-site team.

Reporting to the Senior Accounting Specialist, the role starts with accounts payable and will progressively expand into other areas of accounting, including accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, payroll accounting, and month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn and grow professionally.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting/finance preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions.
• Familiarity with accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, expense coding, and reconciliations.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
• Experience with accounting software or an ERP system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely with proper coding and approvals.
• Match invoices to purchase orders, receipts, contracts, or other records.
• Assist with vendor payments, payment runs, and expense reimbursements.
• Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries about invoices and payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies.
• Assist with accounts payable reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
• Follow internal controls and company policies.
