Job summary

Mann Wireless, Ltd. is hiring an Accounting Assistant for our on-site Largo, FL headquarters. You will start with accounts payable, learning company processes, and will have opportunities to expand into AR, GL maintenance, payroll accounting, and month-end close.

You will work under the Senior Accounting Specialist, handling vendor invoices, coding, and documentation, with growth into broader accounting areas as you develop expertise.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices with proper coding, approvals, and documentation.
• Match invoices to purchase orders, receipts, or contracts; maintain records.
• Assist with vendor payments, expense reimbursements, and reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
• Gain exposure to payroll accounting and general ledger activities.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with financial reporting and analysis.
