Mann Wireless in Largo, FL is hiring an Accounting Assistant on-site to support accounts payable under the Senior Accounting Specialist, with opportunities to grow into accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll accounting, and month-end closing.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn; proficiency with Excel and basic accounting knowledge are expected. The role follows a standard 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule, with on-site work and a path to broader responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions.
• Familiarity with accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, expense coding, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely with proper coding and approvals.
• Match invoices to POs, receipts, or other supporting records.
• Assist with vendor payments and expense reimbursements.
• Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies.
• Assist with bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
