Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years’ experience within collections and loss mitigation.
• Familiarity with tracking databases and loan terminology.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review loan information on 1 to 180+ delinquent 2nd lien accounts.
• Contact borrowers to cure delinquency, set up payment arrangements, review responses for modifications or settlements.
• Identify and recommend workout strategies and, if needed, legal strategies.
• Increase borrower contact frequency and ensure compliance with FDCPA guidelines.
• Maintain up-to-date servicing files and document correspondence.
• Analyze income and documents to determine feasible homeowner solutions.
