Job summary

You will monitor DOT logs, enforce safety regulations, and collaborate with the Transportation/Operations Manager to optimize routes and payroll; occasional route coverage may be required. This role requires a CDL and prior transportation experience.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years transportation or related experience including knowledge of DOT and safety regulations.
• Experience in operation of computerized fleet management systems.
• Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train drivers; staff coaching and scheduling.
• Coordinate deliveries to ensure timeliness and efficiency; assist in payroll and paperwork.
• Monitor DOT logs and driver compliance with regulations; ensure safety practices.
• Maintain vehicle safety; assist in post-trip inspections and route optimization.
