Job summary

Johnson Brothers, a leading family-owned beverage distributor, seeks a Sales Representative to grow an established spirits portfolio in the On-Premise channel across an assigned Raleigh territory. This role emphasizes consultative, business-to-business selling and strong relationship building.

You'll open new accounts, plan sales initiatives, present promotions, and ensure outstanding service while meeting company objectives.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, disciplined, goal oriented, and able to prioritize.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Presentation building and presenting skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
• Willingness to work outside 8-5; some evening/weekend events.
• BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years minimum sales representative experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent customer contact.
• Plan and execute sales initiatives.
• Handle all customer related issues promptly and friendly.
• Full understanding of products and promotional schedules.
• Make effective sales presentations.
• Achieve assigned company objectives and grow business.
• Identify and nurture new and undersold accounts.
• Use POS to enhance selling efforts.
• Follow necessary steps when making sales calls.
• Face to face interaction with customers.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Handle all paperwork issues in a proper and timely manner.
• Must pass Criminal Background and MVR.
