Job summary

Sugarloaf is seeking a Front of House Supervisor for Bullwinkle's on-mountain restaurant and bistro. This role oversees all front of house operations and aims to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Candidates should have supervisory experience in resort-based hospitality and a passion for the food and beverage industry. The position is full-time seasonal, starting at $18/hr with opportunities for growth based on performance.

Qualifications

Strong people and management skills.
Ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
Effective communication with restaurant staff, kitchen and front desk.
Lead by example and foster enthusiastic team environment.
Knowledge of current Food & Beverage trends.
Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Oversee the front of house dinner team to ensure consistent outstanding guest experiences.
Improve service by guiding and coaching team to meet guest needs.
Conduct interviewing, hiring, orientation, performance appraisals and coaching as directed by the Restaurant Manager.
Possess knowledge of wine including development of wine lists and programs.
Take ownership of guest issues until resolved.
