Job summary

YMCA of Greater San Francisco is seeking a Manager on Duty to lead the facility and department during shifts, delivering exceptional member experiences and supporting branch goals.

The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Availability on Sundays and weekdays is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Must be available Sundays 6:45am-3:15pm and Mondays-Thursday 5:15am-1:45pm.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty during scheduled shifts.
• Coach and mentor Member Services staff and ensure on-the-job training.
• Lead tours for prospective members and promote programs.
• Coordinate scheduling, program coordination, and member communications.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the wellness floor.
• Collaborate with departments to improve member experience.
