Job summary

Axiom Technologies, a Global IT Services partner, is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. This contract-based role involves responding to service requests and delivering hands-on assistance for desktops, laptops, and peripherals at the client location.

You will work with the Service Delivery Team, troubleshoot Windows environments, assist with hardware installations, and maintain documentation while following

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments.
• Experience in hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
• Basic understanding of networking (LAN connectivity, switches, routers).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in on-site support environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
