Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients in Nashville, TN. This contract-based, on-demand role requires hands-on support for desktops, laptops, network connectivity, and peripherals at the client location.

You will respond to service requests, troubleshoot Windows desktops, install hardware and software, and document activities for the Service Delivery Team.

Qualifications

• >- Experience with Windows desktops and peripherals; capable of troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• >- Basic networking understanding (LAN), switches, routers, and connectivity.
• >- Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• >- Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
• >- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• >- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
• >- Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• >- Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
• >- Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
• >- Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• >- Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
