On-Demand: Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1759)

Join Target as an On-Demand Guest Advocate (Cashier, General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style). This role offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to work as much or as little as you prefer, with shifts scheduled via our myTime app. Regular engagement—picking up shifts at least once every 4 to 6 months—is required to maintain employment.

Starting hourly rate: $16.00 USD.

About On Demand

This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule. You will not be scheduled in advance but will pick up shifts posted by leaders or team members. Active communication and engagement are essential.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting, assisting, and thanking guests.
• Understand and promote store products, services, and loyalty programs.
• Handle transactions accurately, scan and bag items efficiently, and assist with returns and de-escalations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, support store operations, and adhere to safety policies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and remain composed.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds and stand for long periods.
