Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $16.50 USD per hour

Effective, 05/18/2025 to 09/06/2025, all team members will be eligible to receive a temporary additional $1 added to their base pay.

ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with your schedule varying based on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile app. Your active engagement in picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to contact attempts, is required.

Regular attendance is necessary: you must work at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Flexibility can be granted if you are unable to meet this due to personal circumstances, but you must respond to contact attempts to confirm your interest. If you do not work at least one shift within 6 months (or 5 months starting December 2024), your employment may be terminated.

You will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and participate in a short-term training schedule before starting. Afterward, shifts can be picked up via the myTime app.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

As a guest advocate, you'll focus on providing exceptional service, welcoming guests, and exceeding their expectations through knowledgeable assistance and problem-solving. You'll promote store benefits, assist with digital and in-store services, and ensure a seamless shopping experience.

Typical responsibilities include greeting guests, understanding their needs, assisting with products and services, scanning and bagging items efficiently, and maintaining a clean work area. You will also support order pick-up, drive-up, and other guest services, adhering to safety and compliance standards.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We seek team members who enjoy a lively, energetic environment, excel in guest service, and are flexible and reliable. Skills include effective communication, focus, attention to detail, and the ability to operate technology devices. Prioritize a welcoming attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Basic requirements include handling cash operations, moving merchandise safely, working flexible hours (nights, weekends, holidays), and active engagement in shift pickup. Ability to work in varying temperatures and remain mobile during shifts is also necessary.
