About On Demand

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with flexible scheduling based on store needs and shift availability. This role allows you to create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile app. Regular engagement by working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours) is required; failure to do so may lead to employment termination. You will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo short-term training. The myTime app is used for shift management.

Service & Engagement

As a Guest Advocate, you will focus on guest interaction and recovery, promoting store services, and ensuring a welcoming shopping experience. Your role involves assisting guests, promoting loyalty programs, and supporting store operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent guest service by greeting and assisting guests authentically.
• Understand guest needs through body language and communication.
• Be knowledgeable about store products, services, and digital tools to assist guests effectively.
• Handle transactions, returns, and support order pick-up and drive-up services.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Support cash operations and other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds occasionally.
