ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with a flexible schedule based on store needs and shift availability. This role involves creating your own schedule via our myTime mobile app by picking up shifts posted by leaders or team members.

Active engagement is required: picking up shifts, responding to contact attempts, and working at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours), with a transition to every 5 months starting December 2024 to prevent termination.

As an On-Demand TM, you'll attend a Target Welcome orientation and participate in a short-term training schedule. Afterward, you will use the myTime app to select shifts.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery. Knowledgeable about store capabilities and features to drive adoption, usage, and guest loyalty. Ensuring quick, easy, and exceptional service at checkouts, guest services, gift registry, and pickup/delivery options.

Role Skills and Experience:

• Effective communication and interaction with guests to build an inclusive experience
• Problem-solving and decision-making to resolve guest concerns

• Promoting store benefits, offerings, and services

Typical Responsibilities:

• Delivering excellent guest service and greeting guests authentically
• Understanding guest needs through body language and verbal cues
• Using store tools, products, and services to assist guests
• Efficiently scanning, bagging, and minimizing wait times
• Promoting loyalty programs and store services, including digital features
• Handling returns, de-escalating issues, and supporting order pickups and drive-up services
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Supporting cash and merchandise operations as needed
