ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with a flexible schedule depending on store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime app. Regular engagement by working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours) is required. If unable to work once every 4 weeks, flexibility can be granted, but response to contact attempts is mandatory. Failure to work at least one shift within 6 months (or 5 months starting December 2024) results in administrative termination.

You will attend a Target Welcome orientation and participate in a short-term training schedule. Afterward, shifts are scheduled through the myTime app.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

Advocates of guest experience who focus on guest interaction and recovery, knowledgeable about store capabilities and solutions to drive guest loyalty. Responsible for making shopping quick and easy at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, and drive-up, ensuring high-quality service.

Skills developed include:

• Effective communication and guest interaction

• Promoting store benefits and services

Typical responsibilities include:

• Prioritizing guest service standards
• Greeting guests and understanding their needs
• Using body language and verbal cues to assist guests
• Engaging genuinely and asking questions to understand needs
• Being knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services
• Scanning and bagging items efficiently and accurately
• Minimizing guest wait times
• Promoting Target Loyalty programs and assisting with enrollment
• Using the Target App features like Wallet
• Handling returns, de-escalating situations, and supporting guest services
• Maintaining a clean work area and stocking supplies
• Following safety, ethical, and compliance standards
• Supporting cash operations and other duties as needed
