All About On Demand

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with schedules varying based on store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can pick up shifts via our myTime mobile app. Regular attendance and active engagement are required, including responding to contact attempts and working at least one shift every 4 months (or 5 months from December 2024) to maintain employment.

Upon being offered a position, you will attend a Target orientation and participate in training. The myTime app allows you to select shifts you prefer.

Service & Engagement

Guest Advocates focus on exceeding guest service expectations through interaction, problem-solving, and promoting store services and benefits. They help make shopping quick and easy at various points in the store.

This role helps develop skills such as communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and product knowledge.

Typical Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent guest service and create a welcoming environment
• Assist guests by understanding their needs and providing solutions
• Operate registers accurately and efficiently
• Promote Target’s loyalty programs and services
• Support order pickup, drive-up, and registry services
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support cash handling and other store operations

Basic Requirements

• Handle cash transactions accurately
• Lift up to 44 pounds occasionally, and handle merchandise safely
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active engagement in shift pickup and response to contact attempts
