About On Demand

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with a flexible schedule that varies depending on store needs and shift availability. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile scheduling app. Active engagement by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to contact attempts, is required.

Regular attendance is necessary. You are expected to work at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours), with some flexibility for personal circumstances. If you do not work within 6 months (or 5 months starting December 2024), your employment will be terminated.

Participation in a Target Welcome orientation and a short-term training schedule is required. Afterward, shifts can be picked up through the myTime app.

Service & Engagement

Advocates of guest experience who focus on guest interaction, recovery, and digital services, knowledgeable about store capabilities to enhance guest loyalty. Tasks include greeting guests, assisting with products and services, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Typical Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture prioritizing guest experience.
• Create a welcoming environment and engage genuinely with guests.
• Use body language and verbal cues to assess guest needs.
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately.
• Minimize wait times while maintaining service quality.
• Promote Target programs and assist with enrollment.
• Support order pick-up, Drive Up, and registry services.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety policies and promote a culture of safety and compliance.
• Support cash handling and other store operations as needed.

Qualifications
