About On Demand

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with a flexible schedule based on store needs. This role allows you to create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile scheduling app. Regular engagement and response to contact attempts are required to maintain employment. You must work at least one shift every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours) or face administrative termination, with a transition to 5 months starting December 2024.

Role Responsibilities

• Prioritize guest service by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming environment by greeting all guests
• Observe and assist guests based on body language and verbal cues
• Engage with guests to understand their needs
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to enhance guest experience
• Thank guests genuinely and inform them about current store activities
• Efficiently scan, bag, and handle items while maintaining safety standards
• Minimize wait times while ensuring accuracy and service quality
• Promote and assist with Target Loyalty programs and store services
• Support order pickup, Drive Up, and registry services
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety policies and support a culture of ethical conduct
• Assist with cash office operations as needed
• Perform other duties as required by business needs
