Job summary

Axiom Technologies in the United States is seeking experienced AV Support Engineers – L2 Field Support to provide onsite technical support for meeting room and AV environments across client locations. This on-demand field role involves hands-on troubleshooting of meeting room technologies, MS Teams Rooms, networking, and AV peripherals, with scheduling and hours not guaranteed.

You will work onsite, coordinating with remote teams and vendors to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

Hands-on AV equipment troubleshooting and installation experience.
Experience with meeting room technologies and Teams Rooms.
Ability to work onsite, independently, and coordinate with remote teams.

Responsibilities

Advanced Onsite Troubleshooting: diagnose AV issues, collect logs, implement fixes, onsite isolation.
New Meeting Room Setup & Build: install and connect Teams Rooms, cameras, DSPs, displays, verify cabling and pairing.
IMACD Activities – Install, Move, Add, Change & Decommission: relocate, upgrade, decommission equipment.
Advanced Configuration Support: assist with predefined configurations via Teams Admin Center, e.g., dual display, content ingest.
Network & AV Issue Isolation: perform VLAN checks, validate QoS, coordinate with network team and OEMs.
UAT & Meeting Room Certification: test audio, video, sharing, Teams join, and sign-off readiness.
Documentation & Reporting: update tickets, capture logs/photos, maintain as-built docs, identify improvements.
