Job summary

Louisiana State University is seeking a CxC Student Learning & Development Manager to translate strategy into scalable, high-impact learning experiences that enhance students’ communication skills across disciplines. You will lead workshops, develop resources, and mentor a student workforce of peer coaches.

Two MSLD positions focus on specialties in Visual Communication, Media Production/Tech Communication, or STEM/Technical Communication, with a salary in the $65k–$68k range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of demonstrated success in learning design, instructional delivery, and coaching/development.
• Possess at least 1 of the 3 specialties listed above (Visual/Multi media/Tech communication).
• Excellent writing, interpersonal, visual communication, presentation delivery, and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create student-facing learning resources advancing C-I teaching and learning across disciplines.
• Train and upskill undergraduate student workers who serve as Peer Communication Coaches.
• Mentor LSU Distinguished Communicator Medal Candidates and support related workshops and portfolio reviews.
• Contribute to delivery of additional CxC programming and events as needed.
