Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related professional experience, preferably in higher education.

• Ability to maintain careful attention to detail while working on multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a diverse group of individuals inside and outside the university.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proven ability to handle simultaneous deadlines and adapt to changing needs.
• Ability to articulate the goals and mission of Dodge College to alumni and stakeholders.
• Skilled in record maintenance.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to first-year and transfer students to schedule introductory meetings.
• Maintain daily meeting blocks and coordinate with Academic Advisors, faculty, Career Center staff, and Communications.
• Help students connect with staff and peer advisors and navigate scheduling.
• Coordinate classroom visits for Career Center staff and prepare topics/resources.
• Under Career Manager guidance, coordinate training of Student Peer Advisors.
• Maintain and update printed career resources to reflect current industry standards.
• Support operational logistics for undergraduate and graduate Dodge Next Gen mentorship programs.
• Oversee maintenance of the department’s internal job/internship board.
• Plan and coordinate internal career events and guest speaker opportunities.
