Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside is seeking a Youth Development Specialist (YDS) for Upland, CA. This on-call role supports Scholarship Prep activities after school and in summer, focusing on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character.

You will supervise members, deliver programs, help with homework, and ensure safety and positive behavior while following district and organizational guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Must have at least 48 college units or a degree or pass ESSA test.
• Must be able to work a minimum of two days per week.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems.
• Ability to work with the general public.
• CPR & First Aid certifications within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Youth for Success and promote program participation.
• Implement services and activities for students with safety in mind.
• Supervise youth and maintain a positive environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and uphold policies.
• May drive club van for special events.
