Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake is seeking a Youth Development Professional to support after-school programs for youth ages 5-18. The role focuses on safe supervision, mentoring, and engaging activities that promote academics, character, and healthy lifestyles.

The YDP will work 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 1:30-6:30pm, with a schedule that supports student life and community involvement. Requires a high school diploma and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must pass a criminal background check, MVR check, and drug screening.
• 21 years and over and able to drive 15-passenger vans.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily activities for youth ages 5-18.
• Transport youth in Club vehicles for activities and field trips.
• Encourage engagement and regular attendance in programs.
• Provide mentoring, guidance, and leadership development for youth.
• Provide active supervision and interact with all members.
• Submit lesson plans, attendance sheets, and paperwork.
• Plan special events and field trips.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in local trainings.
