Job summary

YMCA of the East Valley is hiring a Youth Leader for the Redlands After School Program. You will support students with homework, enrichment activities, and supervised recreation under the Area Supervisor.

This part-time role requires dependable attendance and the ability to engage diverse youth in a safe, welcoming environment. The position reports to the Area Supervisor and works weekdays, with schedules including 1:30-6:15 or 2:30-6:30 depending on the group.

Qualifications

• Experience with school-aged children and youth programs.
• Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities in various settings.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of the program and maintain ratios.
• Provide homework help and enrichment activities.
• Communicate with parents daily and maintain professional relationships.
• Ensure safety and well-being of students and program space.
