Job summary

Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge in Minneapolis is seeking an On-Call Withdrawal Management Technician to support safe, person-centered care in our withdrawal management clinic. You will monitor clients, document health information, assist with ADLs, and collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure a calm, recovery‑oriented environment.

This role requires a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid, and at least one year in healthcare or recovery services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year in healthcare, behavioral health, withdrawal management, or recovery services.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required or obtainable prior to direct care.
• Knowledge of health monitoring, infection control, and vital signs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clients for changes in status and report to clinical staff.
• Document observations, health screenings, and vital signs per policy.
• Assist with ADLs and personal care needs.
• Support withdrawal management services and care plans.
• Maintain confidential client documentation per HIPAA and laws.
• Assist with admission and discharge procedures and safety checks.
