Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician to assist semi-truck fleets with tire failures at customer locations. Technicians are dispatched to roadside incidents to repair or replace tires, with duties including mounting and basic shop chores when calls are slow.

The role includes mandatory on-call rotation and after-hours premium pay, with eligibility for comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including proper PPE, tire cages, and safety policies.
