Job summary

Washington Soldiers Home is seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse 2 to support the delivery of skilled nursing and related care to veterans. Under RN3 supervision, you will provide clinical treatments, medication administration, and thorough documentation while ensuring dignified daily living activities.

You will lead NAC staff and participate in shifts on a rotational on-call basis, with a minimum four full shifts per month.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State registered nurse license.
• Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English for safe clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain healthcare records according to policies and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor residents.
• Maintain incident log and provide feedback to staff on incidents.
• Encourage residents and staff to meet needs in a respectful, homelike environment.
• Maintain open communication with staff and share information.
