Job summary

The Washington Soldiers Home is seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse 2 to provide skilled nursing and nursing-related care to veterans. Under RN 3 supervision, you will administer medications, document care, and support activities of daily living in a dignified, compassionate manner.

You will also provide leadership to NAC staff and ensure compliance with nursing standards. This role requires WA RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and proficient English communication.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State license to practice as a registered professional nurse.
• Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing; English reading/writing/speaking required.
• Experience may be considered year-for-year with education; relevant to position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain healthcare records per policies.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor self-pour meds.
• Maintain incident log; provide feedback to staff.
• Encourage residents and staff to meet needs in a homelike environment.
• Maintain open communication with staff; assist in training materials.
