Job summary

Washington Soldiers Home, a WDVA facility in Orting, WA, is seeking a Nursing Assistant Certified for a full-time, non-permanent day shift. You will help deliver skilled nursing care to veterans, participate in care planning, document vital signs, and support licensed nurses in therapies.

Eligible candidates must hold WA Nursing Assistant Certification, OBRA status, and be able to lift 60 pounds. The role requires in-person work with no telework option and includes shift premium considerations

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification in WA
• Active OBRA status
• Ability to lift 60 lbs and bend/kneel as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities per care plan
• Record vital signs and update electronic records
• Support nurse in therapies and treatments
• Ensure patient safety and respond to call lights and emergencies
• Maintain infection control and clean care spaces
• Assist with transportation and positioning of residents
